THE BELOW INFORMATION RELATES TO THE 2020 EVENT. 2021 INFORMATION WILL BE ADDED SHORTLY
On Sunday 9th February, the Cancer Research UK London Winter Run will return to central London for its 6th year. Up to 25,000 participants will brave the elements along a 10km route past some of London’s most iconic landmarks to raise vital funds to help beat cancer sooner. This event has raised around £3M for Cancer Research UK, as well as fundraising for other causes too. Friends and family are also expected to be in the area to cheer their loved ones on. The event is a 10k closed road running event which will involve a number of road closures.
Please see the attached information sheet for the 2020 event with details of roads closed, and timings of their respective closures for the event. Due to the major gas pipe works taking place in the City of London the traffic management planning for this area (Sector 4 on the map) for the 2020 event is ongoing with the various councils and TFL.
